Professional Massage Therapy

Experience the healing power of skilled therapeutic massage. Our licensed massage therapists combine sports massage, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial release to address muscle tension, reduce pain, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking general wellness, our personalized approach delivers measurable results.

What is Professional Massage Therapy?

Professional massage therapy is a comprehensive approach to treating soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, and muscle dysfunction through skilled manual manipulation. Unlike relaxation massage, our therapeutic sessions target specific problem areas using evidence-based techniques designed to produce lasting improvements in pain, mobility, and function.

Our massage therapists integrate multiple modalities—including sports massage for active individuals, deep tissue work for chronic tension patterns, myofascial release for fascial restrictions, and trigger point therapy for referred pain—to create a customized treatment that addresses your unique needs. Each session begins with a thorough assessment and ends with personalized self-care recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear to my massage appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You'll be draped with sheets during your session, and our therapists work professionally to ensure your comfort and modesty at all times. Most clients undress to their comfort level—some prefer to remain fully clothed for certain techniques, while others prefer minimal clothing for direct skin contact with oils or lotions.

How long does a session last, and what's included?

We offer 60-minute ($110) and 90-minute ($180) sessions. Your appointment includes an initial assessment, hands-on treatment, reassessment, and personalized self-care recommendations. First-time clients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork. The 90-minute session is recommended for those with multiple problem areas or chronic conditions requiring more extensive work.

Will massage therapy be painful?

Therapeutic massage should feel productive, not painful. While deep tissue work and trigger point therapy can create temporary discomfort as we release tension, our therapists constantly communicate with you to ensure the pressure is therapeutic and never exceeds your tolerance. You should feel "good pain" (productive discomfort) rather than sharp or unbearable pain. Always speak up if something doesn't feel right.

How often should I get massage therapy?

Frequency depends on your goals and condition. Acute injuries may benefit from weekly sessions initially, while chronic pain often responds well to bi-weekly treatments. Maintenance and wellness clients typically schedule monthly sessions. Your therapist will recommend an optimal frequency based on your assessment, and we offer package discounts for multiple sessions to make regular care more affordable.
